CUTTING VS IN-CONTEXT DERIVED 

Cutting parts directly within an assembly is a highly debated workflow. Reduce Component Counts: Eliminate the need to join separate, cut parts by combining them into a single, formed, or 3D-printed component. Fewer pieces mean less assembly time and fewer fixtures. 

Standardize Hardware: If you are using cut parts that require fasteners, avoid custom-tapped threads if possible. Opting for insert hardware reduces part degradation and speeds up assembly.
