Standard commercial jet fuel is a highly refined form of kerosene. Common jet fuels like Jet A and Jet A-1 are kerosene-based products.

Key Differences

Purity and Standards: Jet fuel goes through much stricter filtering and testing than regular heating kerosene.

Additives: Jet fuel includes special chemical additives (such as anti-icing, anti-static, and corrosion-inhibiting agents) that standard kerosene does not need.

Freezing Point: Jet fuel is engineered to stay liquid at extremely cold temperatures high in the air (down to -40°C for Jet A and -47°C for Jet A-1).

Jets should have fuselage exo-shells in case exterior damages
