FOURTH DIMENSION IS AN EXTENSION 

The fourth dimension is an extension of our three-dimensional space, most commonly understood in physics as time combined with the three spatial dimensions to form spacetime. 

Mathematical and Spatial View

Extra Direction: Mathematically, it adds a brand-new independent direction that is perpendicular to length, width, and height.
